A note on the 2021 Calendars
“Doing nothing for others is the undoing of ourselves.”
This is a sentiment never more important than this year. One where we have needed to look out for each other and those that need support more than in a very long time.
With this in mind, I am proud to announce that I have donated the proceeds of the 2021 Calendar to the 5 chosen charities. The sale raised €1700 across 5 brilliant charities.
Without a shadow of a doubt there are better words for saying this, but I'll keep it simple: Thank you. On a personal level, it has been a privilege to be part of a community effort to raise funds for vital charities. It has also been an enormous privilege to talk to many of you via message, email or in-passing over the last month or so, where your kind words & encouragement have been a joy. I am grateful that the very thing that brought me calm & fulfillment throughout this year has now been able to help bring some funds together to help others. Thanks to you. For this, you have my sincere gratitude.
Below I'll outline the exact contributions as per sales:
41 sales to Jigsaw — a total of €348.50
46 sales to Adapt: Kerry Women's Refuge — a total of €391.00
80 sales to Ballybunion Sea & Cliff Rescue — a total of €680.00
24 sales to SERA Husky & Animal Rescue — a total of €204.00
9 sales to COPE Galway — a total of €76.50
I have taken the step add in extra amounts where people paid a little extra for their chosen charity & have done some rounding up. I have added some donations in myself alongside this to result in the following final totals:
€360 to Jigsaw
€400 to Adapt: Kerry Women's Refuge
€700 to Ballybunion Sea & Cliff Rescue
€220 to SERA Husky & Animal Rescue
€120 to COPE Galway.
In total this project and your generosity sees €1800 going to charity.*
From what has been a challenging year, it has been a joy to see little projects like this one (among many others) come together. I look forward to 2021 & shooting more photos to fill out the 2022 calendar, which will again be in aid of some brilliant charities.
